Annual Meeting for Medical Examiners and Coroners


Please join us for the 37th Annual Forensic Science Seminar.  This educational seminar on death investigation is co-sponsored by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office and the Minnesota Coroners' and Medical Examiners' Association.  We welcome attendees that are physicians, medical personnel, attorneys, law enforcement, death investigators and morticians/funeral directors.

We have been approved for Continuing Education Credit as follows:

•    Legal (CLE) 7.25 hours

•    Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) 8 hours

•    Medical Examiner/Coroner Investigators (ABMDI) 7.5 MMA hours; 7.25 AAFP hours

•    Medical (CME, Nursing CEUº)

•    Mortuary Science CEUs (MDH-MSS) 7.5 General CEU’s

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the 
joint providership of the Minnesota Medical Association and Minnesota Coroners’ and Medical Examiners’ Association. The Minnesota Medical Association (MMA) is accredited by the ACCME to 
provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Minnesota Medical Association designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credits commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
